London Day 1

After a quiet NYE just staying in and watching TV, Isobel and I left Mollie and Freya behind and headed off to London for a couple of days.

We had a guided tour round Westminster Abbey by a very knowledgeable and charming verger.  Stating the obvious I know but, the amount of history tied up in one building is amazing!

After that we checked into our Hotel, a Superior room in the Covent Garden Travelodge (as one does) and then headed for a lovely meal in Brumus in Suffolk Place before crossing the road to Her Majesty's Theatre to see Phantom of the Opera.

What a performance!!!!
