Good things...

Out in the only gap in today's rain I'd set my sights on the cairn being today's blip, safe in the knowledge that Pushka could always be my back up plan.
Arriving the view towards the Howgills was black as the next wave of weather loomed, but looking East towards the Pennines there was an unexpected patch of blue, probably just enough sun striking through to make a fragment of rainbow. Three for the effort of one.
