A broken kitchen drawer

Not a great picture. My skills were not upto recreating the former majesty of this drawer. This drawer held all my cutlery and has served without complaint for the nine years I have lived here. But it started to stick, creak and this simply got worse. I was forced to remove the cutlery and then the drawer was removed, falling apart in the mess you see captured by this blip.

What next. Well as I rent it is up to the landlord to sort a replacement. Will it be soon, I doubt it. The agency is traditionally slow with sorting out non-urgent matters. So I may have a hole for quite a time.
