Home of Adam Sedgwick

We had a day off from our walks and decided to visit a couple of local villages. We headed towards Ingleton  but turned off and drove down Dentdale to visit Dent. It's a place we've been to several times before. We've even camped here a couple of times. It's the home of the famous geologist Adam Sedgwick.

We then moved onto Sedbergh, famed for it's bookshops. We had a good look round one, bought a couple of books and then went to lunch. Lunch was a vast improvement on last night's meal. We went to the Three Hares Cafe Bistro.

We had a quiet night in and just about stayed awake until midnight to see in the New Year!
