Magnificent morning

We woke to deep fresh powder and a kaleidescope of colour, the former which lasted most of last night and the latter which lasted a good half hour. After breakfast we took to our cross-country skis for an hour before meeting my Mum for a late morning coffee at the Sports bar. Thank goodness for the soft snow as a speedy descent on parallel skis quickly turned into a reverse snowplough (the splits) and a face plant! No harm done.
After lunch we took a wander around the hamlet of Vachery, enjoying the fresh snow before the next storm comes in.
