Bloody tourists
Happy New Year all. Lie in this morning after last night. Even Kilda is suffering from two late nights. Spent the day just sorting things out and taking Kilda for a couple of walks in the gardens. Managed to get the last lot of beer bottled and the ironing done. Watched the Christmas lectures. As part of the Christmas celebrations Edinburgh have organised a walking tour around the city with some projections on a few of the buildings to celebrate Edinburgh being the first UNESCO City of Literature. The walk celebrates the life of Susan Ferrier who wrote the novel the Marriage in 1810, which was finally released in 1815 and became a big hit. She died in our house on 5th November 1854. As a result they have placed a plaque on the railings outside and is part of the tour. Kilda has been getting used to all the new visitors outside by standing in the window and barking at them
