hairy spider

There are loads of huge spiders around at this time of year. I hate to break their webs and walk around them if I come across them in my track on my walks around the garden looking for sow thistles for the guinea pigs. This paler than usual one was sitting in the centre of his web and then as soon as he saw my camera he ran away and hid under a leaf! No doubt, he was scared of me!!
