New Year's Day

We took the opportunity to meet up with friends for a New Year's Day walk around the park in St Albans.  I think we were chatting too much to concentrate on taking photographs, so this is just a quick snap of the bridge over the lake.

It would have been better if the skies hadn't been so grey.  It was on our way back home in the car that the sun broke through and everything looked so much brighter - too late for my photograph.
