Not A Good Start To The Year.

Today has been hot and sticky.

Peter came around this afternoon to mow the lawns.  Just as he was finishing, a stone flicked up and smashed a rear window in Alexandra's car.

Of course being a public holiday, we couldn't get it fixed.

So she now has to wait in tomorrow for that to be mended.  She will have to cancel her car service, which was booked tomorrow, and re-book it.

And once the window is fixed she will then have to go and get it re-tinted.

Such a lot of hassle and a lot of re-organising when you have two small children

Not a good start to the year.

But finally a thunderstorm, that at least brought the temperature down.
