Happy New Year

Happy new year for several new parents I photographed today, an annual assignment for many news photographers, and always a pleasing job. Happy midwives, happy nurses, happy new mums and dads, puzzled sleepy babies wondering whats all this flashing going on....
New mums and dads always hold their newborn in cradling arms, I always ask them to hold their babies cheek to cheek, the kiss either comes naturally (snap!) or it's an easy request (snap!). Happy days.
