Mister Pileated is Back

It has been a quiet day at home, watching for the birds.  It was so kind of this stunning, large woodpecker to visit.  I haven't been outside except to pick up the paper from the sidewalk.  I'm waiting for my daughter and her dog Leo to arrive.  She's a 3rd grade teacher in NY City and has a total of two weeks off for the holidays, so she's coming home to visit with friends, and us!  My most strenuous activity for the day will be to make dinner.
