New Year Sunset

Today marked the start of a new year. We went for our traditional New Years day walk to the Brayford pool in Lincoln feeding the Swans & gulls on the way. This was followed by a Trip to BK for lunch and then on to visit Mum. We have done this since Jae was a baby. 
While at the Brayford the sun was starting to set so managed to get this lovely shot of a golden sunset reflecting on to the water. I decided to go with this shot as it was the best shot I got. I was thinking of blipping a Cormorant that had just caught a fish and was struggling to get it down but he did succeed in the end see extra . I have also included a shot of the gulls going mad for food.
