New Year's Day Plunge

Hundreds of nutters hearty, adventurous souls, donned fancy dress gear today and plunged into the sea at Lyme Regis. The weather was absolutely perfect. Thank goodness for that as there were quite a few who were just wearing swimsuits / bikinis under very thin outfits.
The RNLI were on hand - and in fact were there in the water, to deter anyone wishing to go a bit too far out or worse. 
I have several reasons to be thankful to the RNLI, so as they were posing rather nicely here, after the event, I thought it would be churlish not to take their photo.
My extra is the moon as seen from our drive this evening. It's quite stunning tonight.
