We went across the Links to Mel's to see in the new year, as the wee dug would have been alarmed by the fireworks if she'd gone outdoors to watch them. So we had a bite and a blether with Carol (before she left to check her wee cat!) and then watched the festivities on the telly. The wee dug suddenly decided she'd like to sit on my lap, so this was my view.

 A few good things happened in 2017 but also a great many bad ones - we all agreed that we were glad to see the back of  it.
