Hogmanay!

We had a long train journey north alongside a family that seemed to get louder the further north we went. However, I messed up the train times and we were on a train 30 minutes later than our tickets were for. The train conductor kindly decided not to charge us the small fortune for two new tickets and for that I'm very grateful!

When we eventually got home we went back out again to run errands and get food in, after which we promptly fell asleep. A few minutes before midnight we went out to the beach and brought in the new year with two pipers playing Auld Lang Syne - as you do.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
