Full Moon

Looks like we've got a nearly full moon for the New Year celebrations. I wonder whether we we also get high tides and the river over its banks. The clear sky bodes well for the firework displays and the celebrations in Princes Street. Margaret andI do not make a big thing of Hogmanay now that the children are all grown up but usually stay up to see the bells and fireworks on television. I remember our first year in Scotland when we lived briefly in Bathgate and were invited round to the neighbours to celebrate. It seemed quite alien having moved up from England just a year or so previously. Now the new year seems to be celebrated the world over.
