You might, like me, have thought,....

...that no-one still used the skill of predicting the future from tea-leaves, especially given that you would need to burst the tea-bag first. 

Mind you the technique did not inform coach loads of tourists, who travelled to town for a shopping trip when the majority of shops were closed for New Year's Day.
