Beautiful & Decedent Breakfast

After our night out/retirement pub crawl and stay in the beautiful and iconic Toronto hotel, we had a slow start. Our suite was too lovely to leave but we did make our way downstairs to the hotel dining room for a fancy breakfast. Our very good (& generous) friends had surprised us with the gift of a night at this hotel that we walk past twice per work day going to and from but had never had the pleasure of staying. It was as fabulous as i thought it would be. Following the decadent breakfast we parted ways. When we arrived back on our area i suggested we check out a 2nd bike shop for boxing week sale. We were pleasantly surprised by the prices and i followed through with my promise (threat) and purchased a bike, shoes and special pedals for a fabulous price. My sweetie has never had a comfortable and fitted bike so did not enjoy cycling. His retirement gift from me is a lovely new hybrid bike, and picks it up on tuesday - i will blip then.
