Best wishes to you all for 2018

We had a trip to Stony Stratford for their annual fund raising event for their local Willen hospice. The event is called Vintage Stony and consists of the whole town being filled with vehicles stretching back over 100 years. Some really interesting cars and motorcycles and a huge crowd. 

Getting a Costa coffee required patience.

The blip is a 90 year old Willys Overland Whippet, built in Ohio and still running. 

The highlight of the event is the starting of all the engines at 12 noon. The noise and fumes were just what petrol heads enjoy. Unfortunately it brought on heavy rain at 12.15 so some of the treasured vehicles made a hasty retreat.
