And Venus Was Her Name
So Oliver was awake at 5am. Not a good start to a day that was going to see him need to be up until late (10ish at night). After numerous shouts and carrying on coming from his bedroom, we gave up and at least sat upright in bed at about 6am.
Steph saw a message from a friend on Facebook saying that Venus was bright in the sky, so off I trotted to the window. You could clearly see the bright light shining above the crescent of the moon. So I got the camera, flung the window wide open to get photograph, much to the pleasure of those still in bed.
It did lead to a little explanation of the solar system to Oliver, and the relationship of moons and planets and how far away they were, and how difficult to get there. Everything is possible at 5. Just go to Venus...Simple....
