Happy New Year!

The moment the fireworks start on Copacabana beach is magical!    It signals the arrival of the New Year - cue raising of champagne glasses - and the start of a jaw dropping pyrotechnical display that lasts seventeen minutes and transports you back to childhood wonder.  It's almost as much fun to watch the expressions on the upturned faces - especially those belonging to people you know are attending for the first time - as it is to view the show overhead.   We were there in the company of Briocarioca and HH as well as their other party and house guests, after a lovely get together in their house which is a stone's throw from our studio.   We were like a gathering of the United Nations, as well as spanning many generations!
