Seeking Wabi Sabi I

I first came across the term Wabi Sabi after finding Bruce MacDougall's website Here in which he documents how he came to terms with his senseless daughters murder. It is very worthwhile visiting his website via the link above.
A highly recommended book titled Wabi-Sabi for Artists, Designers, Poets, and Philosophers by Leonard Koren is also in my library now and it is still a concept that eludes me. But this is the nature of it and its beauty.
A good starting point is understanding three of its spiritual values that are
1. All things are impermanent.
2. All things are imperfect.
3. All things are incomplete.
This is pretty much a very superficial look at Wabi Sabi.
It is a Japanese aesthetic, and probably needs to be studied long and hard. What I am trying to do with this series of photos is to attempt to find some element or feeling of Wabi Sabi through photography. This image is only a start, a seeking, and hopefully I will be able to continue on, over time, with this series and achieve some enlightenment.
