New Year walk

I was determined to go for a walk this morning. The Gym and pool weren’t due to open until 10 and there will be a rush as people try to start their new year resolutions....

I drove over to Branston Water Park and it was chilly and gloomy. I was lucky, though. It didn’t start to rain until I got back into the car to come home.

Although it was poor light, there was plenty to see, including a tree full of cormorants. This grebe was my choice, nearly foiling my attempts to focus with strategically timed dives.
