I had to make a collage as otherwise the picture would have been too small for upload. 

We went up a hill a bit to get some view of the surrounding area. On the right you can see Alicante airport lights in a row. Little lights in far distance are lights from Elche.

Buddha had a rough night with the bombs and fireworks. We made him a safe "hole" where to hide, but still it's terrible to see the panic and not be able to do anything. Now it's peace and quiet, but I assume the kids might be making a racket every day until schools start next week. But at least it won't be like a war zone anymore.
