Coming into land.......

I have been standing under our very old apple tree this afternoon. It has magnificent blossom on it at the moment, so I stood there for ages taking lots of photos of different types of bumble bees, honey bees, wasps and other insects (that I didn't know what they were) landing on the blossom. The tree was humming! I was there so long, our neighbour up the road a bit was apparently spying on me through his binoculars, checking to see what I was doing there for so long - or perhaps he was making sure that I was alright.

At last the sun has been out all day - yipee!! It is so nice to be outside in fine weather rather than the wet that we have been having over the past week.
