What a Christmas, walking by a palm tree on the beach, in the spot from which you can draw the closest line between Sicily and the rest of Italy. Or, as Sicilians would rather argue, between Sicily and “the continent”. The “other”, the rest which is not Sicily. Typical island mentality.
