Baking Day

Miss L got a lovely book from Nana for Christmas - two hundred million Christmassy things to make and do. She loves it!
This morning she asked could we make star biscuits and so we did!!
In the absence of the recommended red food colouring we added green. It was a choice between that and blue and Miss L declared that green is more Christmassy!!
Sadly when the cookies came out of the oven they weren't at all green. But they were tasty and that's the most important thing!!
Another Groundhog Day of eating, watching TV, playing on iPads, drinking mulled wine and vaguely tidying up today. 
It's that time of year when all the days merge and I have no idea what day of the week it is. 
And when my jeans no longer fit but it doesn't matter because I've worn nothing but jim-jams for days.
Far from the Madding Crowd was our film of choice tonight. Much better than stupid Spiderman!!!!
