Snow on the Simonside Hills

Another gloriously sunny day, and MrM drove us down to Simonside for a short walk in the hills. 'Twas bitterly cold, and the path treacherously icy, but it was good to be out! (Blip courtesy of a complete stranger who kindly offered to take a photo of us all - he had just run up the path and looked a little under-dressed in his shorts!) The extra shows the famous Simonside Christmas tree - this one appeared recently after the original was chopped down. In to Rothbury for a bite to eat before returning home.

In the evening, Tom and I cooked a meal while MrM drove Lucy in to Berwick to meet her boyfriend, Jake, who's come to stay for a few days.
