Hogmanay 2017
As if by magic, all the snow had disappeared by this morning, only to be replaced by some fierce winds which fortunately didn't last long.
Evidence of the melted snow, however, was clearly seen this afternoon from the Drymen bridge over the River Endrick, which looked as if it was about to burst its banks. You can see how the river meanders through the flat land, both in the blip and on the map.
The river, along with many others, flows into Loch Lomond, so my tree is probably sitting in much deeper water than it was on Thursday.
D#1 has now arrived to bring in the New Year with me. See you all on the other side...
