Finally got a picture of one of our garden Wrens today, not the sharpest, but not bad as it was taken through a, not so clean, kitchen window.

Mum came for lunch today, she's a bit low at the moment and also not feeling 100% having caught a bug just after Christmas.  She has decided to stay at home tonight with the TV, some wine and chocolates rather than go to my brothers...I don't blame her, I actually don't like new year at all.

However, we are off to see the new year in with Bellringing, Morris, Village friends!  Once again we will miss being in the Church to ring the new year in with family and friends,  and of course proper bells,  but we might get to ring some handbells.
