Goodbye 2017

Just time for one last 2017 walk with my nearest and dearest (minus David, who's in London) before we escaped the rain and came home to eat and drink everything in sight before the diet starts tomorrow.

One family member didn't quite see the end of 2017, our little hamster Stanley sadly went to run on his big plastic wheel in the sky this morning. About an hour after announcing that we would have no further small pets, I found myself agreeing to foster a hedgehog for the winter in the newly vacated hamster cage. I have promised John that there will be no smell, which is a scandalous untruth....


I hope 2017 was kind to you, and if it wasn't I hope 2018 is better xxxx
