Long and Bouncy Road
Along the famous Forks of the Credit Road, just a few miles out of town along the Niagara Escarpment; full of glorious Fall colours (and stacks of nothing-better-to-do-on-a-Saturday-afternoon cop cars) . . .
The foliage is wonderful, the curves scary and the undulating roads a fairground switchback. Lovely drive, marred only by big-city drivers desperate to escape the city and the aforementioned cops desperate to add more scalps to their weekend tally.
Won't last, the darker, frosty evenings tell us that winter is on the way. The only drivers along these roads then will be driving warm, affluent 4x4s heading for the ski clubs (signs at the entrances roughly translated: "Plebs keep Out."
