Had another shot in the top spot and the dreaded orange band ran across the top telling me the size of the image exceeded what was allowed!  This one is significantly less sharp, but oh well, you get the idea.  
This is our local party boat, all decked out with Christmas lights....
Tomorrow night, New Year's Eve, there will be fireworks over the bay.  I've never tried to photograph them and don't think I will try because I love just seeing them with my eyes......
