Diary of an Edinburgher

More bubbles and nibbles

I only managed 40 minutes in the gym today - I skipped the pool, it was a wee bit busy I couldn’t be bothered. Mind you, I did do 10 minutes on the cross trainer (where I produced enough energy to power a light bulb for 8 minutes, apparently). I also did 50 stretchy steps on the scary Skillmill and the big steps. Phew!

Got back in time to see Elizabeth take Archie out. She's been on holiday, so he has had lots of bonus walkies!

We popped into town for a wander. Haven’t been down Cockburn Street for ages - it used to be a bit unsavoury edgy - but it's all trendy cafes (Flat White £3.25!) and quirky wee shops now. I took a shot of the 'Winter Womderland' from the same spot that I’d dropped my previous phone (on the first day I had it) into the gardens.

Home in time to get changed, and explain to Archie that he was being left in the house alone for an hour or so, something we rarely do, and popped across the road for a pleasant evening of bubbles and nibbles with our neighbour.

Archie has been having peaceful nights - long may they continue.

Spiral has returned! Yay!
