New year daffodils

One of my friends in Bradford gave me daffodils at New Year because her mum had ! Gave me a love of that tradition so when I saw these as tight buds I had to have them & today this one is just opening!!

Had a cooking afternoon- was supposed to be just a meat pie, but I fancied welsh cakes & I’d accidentally defrosted some apple purée so it got busier.
