Goose Barnacles

We went to the nearby beach this morning. It was warm as the wind has moved round and is sending air from the warmer south. We saw an enormous log that had been washed ashore. Hundreds of goose barnacles were clinging to it. A great  and very expensive delicacy in some places! This is a very small section of it. The extra is the beach in the sunshine which looks colourless in this light.

This afternoon we went to watch the little ones skate. In the extras, Miss Izzy with her mum :)
