ok, things didn’t go to plan...one f’d gear box and it was all going so well too! I was rescued by the aa then mike - the car was towed back to elgin and mike got me to eden court with 10 minutes to set up. luckily isabel was lovely about it but it took me the rest of the afternoon to recover. beefy arrived half an hour later, so at least he was there......man, a long day! remind me never to leave the shire again.
