Flower in October

Wow, I was surprised today when I saw this flower amongst all the dying plants. There were two of them and I nearly could not capture either of them because the wind was waving them so wildly. I think this one looks rather pretty.

We had a magnificent brunch at work today as a beginning to the annual celebration for the staff. Families and kids were invited so there were a lot of people, but the food was plentiful and sooo delicious.

In the afternoon we took a nice walk. The weather wasn't too bad, it was just a bit humid and windy.
