Sixth Day of Christmas

"For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream." - Vincent Van Gogh

On the sixth day of Christmas
The Season gave to me
Six veggie sushi,
Five gold beers
four choral songs
three saxes
(and some extras)
Two black crows
and an Asda Christmas pudding luxury

An afternoon spent at Kanyon shopping mall with Caitlin - sushi for lunch and then the cinema to see "Loving Vincent".  Extraordinary.  I understand that this film may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I loved it.  Image overload of colour and movement, this gentle film intrigued, captivated, and filled my eyes - truly an original work of art.

Later: at the time of writing the above, I didn't even realise it was literally five years of blip today -  because of the leap year I guess, as I was counting it as tomorrow , 31st Dec into Monday New Year's Day.  Had I realised I would certainly have chosen a more interesting image than my lunch!  I will now dwell on how tomorrow I can combine seven somethings for my twelve days of Christmas challenge, with New Year 's eve AND the conclusion of five years of daily blip foto .... is it even possible? Meanwhile, thank you everyone for your messages.  As has been said many times, many ways, it truly is the folk that that make this place special and I appreciate everyone's support, humour and photos.  Long may our shutters continue to fall. More tomorrow.
