Catkins

Another sleepless night - this cold is bumbling along just enough to annoy me but not enough to call man-flu yet! I feel rotten, but no visible symptoms.

A bit warmer out on our walk - with fewer layers of clothing too. I stopped to photograph these catkins which had some water droplets just catching the sun. I used a wide(ish) aperture to get a reasonable amount of them in focus but to throw the hedgerow behind, with the light shining through, into a blur.
