Floods and snowdrops
The melting snow has caused the River Nene to burst its banks in places. As G and I were checking out a walk route this morning the river was thundering over the sluice at Alwalton and the path by the bank towards Peterborough was impassable. So we worked out an easier route around Ferry Meadows. We spotted these snowdrops peeking through in the churchyard of St Andrews as we returned to Alwalton. And so the cycle of another year has begun again. Here's to a good 2018.
For the record: Sunny spells Max 10C
