Reasons to smile...

CoW

These wreaths were made out of recycled invoices found in the attic of my favourite coffee place in Falkirk Coffee on Wooer (or CoW).  It was a fabric merchants years ago and the invoices go back as far as 1899. They've opened a new place called the Thirsty Cow which has coffee but is also a bar and used the be a total dive (and therefore where I drank underage). It's so impressive, when I think about how grim it was. When you could smoke in it it masked the smell and grime. The smoking ban started when I was 18 and suddenly you saw how gross the place really was!

Anyway a nice afternoon seeing a friend and a relief to see the toilets actually have seats and flush now.
