Bougainvillea

A strong easterly wind has made it rather unpleasant outside today, so we finished off some insect identifications and spent a small amount of time in the garden.  Now it is drying off there is not so much to do, as the grass has stopped growing in most places, and the weeds aren't too much of a problem.  We still have some trees to cut down, and lots of mulch to make and  spread.  

Our bougainvillea is flowering well now, and is quite spectacular, but at the rate it has been growing, I can understand how this plant becomes weedy in other parts of the world.
