End of the holidays

Well, the holiday doorway decorating contest has ended, and the winner was so garish and tasteless that I wouldn't dream of blipping it.  So here are a couple of shots from the doorway of a woman who always has lovely displays (I've blipped them before).  She goes in for simplicity and good taste.

We had an inch and a half of rain today, which has washed away all remnants of the snow.  Don't know if we'll have any more this season, but it was beautiful while it lasted.
