Sometimes, don't follow the rules

I am a neglectful gardener.  Plenty of good intentions but sporadic follow through.    I had not cutback the stems after they flowered on my orchids.  Imagine my delight to discover that one stem had sent forth another shoot which will be blooming soon.  Can't bring myself to cut off even the tip now.  Will see if any others follow suit.
