Getting ready

I had some shopping to do first thing. All clear and dry when I went into the shops:blizzard when I exited.

Good day in the office with a few urgent papers to read and respond to. And a major clear out/ tidy up. Will need another day or to to get on top of everything but this long long overdue housecleaning is very therapeutic - and necessary.

The gardens in Princes Street were all being prepared for the Hogmanay celebrations. 2018 is getting close.
