Happy Halloween

I saw such a display of decorations for a later celebration I was sorely tempted to post something relating to that later vent. In an attempt to avoid the use of the "C" word I shall refer to it as the mid winter festival.

Halloween is a lot earlier so I think it is not too early to post a Halloween display. However pictures associated with the mid winter festival cannot be far away.

Thank goodness the rain has stopped, well compared to yesterday it has stopped. We have had a mixture of rain and drizzle since late afternoon. However the day concluded well despite the rain, with an excellent meal at Max's in Westhill. The chef does know how to prepare pasta al dente, while so often in the UK it tends to be over cooked.
