Start of the whiteout

At 05:30 there just appeared to be a little frost on the road.  Snow forecast for 06:00, and right on cue it was falling and giving quite a covering, so I decided to set off for work as there are hills whichever way I go out of the village.  Only saw a couple of other cars, and the roads were not bad at all until I reached the edge of the city, and no gritting appeared to have been done.  I don't mind driving in snow, and the side roads are quite fun when there are no other cars around!  Amazing how those who live closest to work "couldn't get in"!  Only photo today is looking out from my office just as the snow started to come down heavily around 09:30 - raining and all gone now!
