Walk in the woods

After eating far too much over the last few days we went for a snowy walk in Callahan state park. It is still very cold with daytime temps only reaching -12C. Microspikes made the trails far easier to navigate. The chimney is in hidden in the middle of the park and marked the point where we rewarded ourselves with some Christmas cake. It was very cold and we needed the calories!

The boys stayed home of course because they are lazy teenagers.
