Guess what

These leaves are  growing in the pot on the window ledge in the kitchen..unfortunately I have no clue what they might be.  I had some seeds for hollyhocks, coneflowers, honesty and some other seeds I had "stolen" but I don't know what was what.  So I am going to keep this alive..I hope... and then plant in the yard in the spring.  Maybe I will get some flowers.  I am thinking it might be honesty.

 Cold here as everywhere else in the US I think.    A week ago it was warm and I wore my flipflops to rake the yard.   Typical Southern weather but I think this year we are a little colder than usual.  

I have not even set foot outside today except to put bird seed on the feeder and refill the bird bath with water that was not frozen.  I am happy to report that I did get 12, 062 photos deleted and my 2017 photos are all sorted and in folders by month.  Some months only have 15 photos..I was totally ruthless in the removal of photos that I did not really like, need or want to keep.   Now I have to make the annual family photo book and then I will be ready for 2018.   And my laptop has lots of space for new photos!   

Some friends and I are planning a trip up the the mountains of South Carolina next Wednesday..waterfalls are frozen!!!   Can't wait to see some of them!
